Vera & Thomas

"Let's create a future where fashion has less of an impact on the environment."

The fashion industry is the world's second most polluting industry. Pollution takes place at every single phase of the production process. Producing a single pair of jeans requires the use of about 10,000 litres of water. A t-shirt requires around 2,700 litres!

Considering those numbers, it's shocking to learn that on average, new items of clothing are worn just 7 times before they become landfill. People on average own 173 items of clothing, with 50 that haven't been worn for over a year.

Sueter wants to allow people to bring more variation to their day-to-day outfits, without contributing to the inefficient and harmful production processes of the fast fashion industry.
